On the weekend the 2,3 and 4th May 2014, the Grafton Cub Scouts participated in the annual region camp "Thrills and Skills" at Glenreagh (Camp Eagle Eye), along with around nearly 250 other cubs/leaders and parents from across the north coast region, they participated in many activities, canoeing, flying fox, mud slide, camp fire songs and skits, and many more activities. To top the weekend off two of the Cubs from Grafton Scout Group received the top award for Cub Scouting called the Grey Wolf award, where they have a range of things to do and complete before they reach the age of 11. Pictured is one of the cubs who received his that weekend Matthew Day, who received his Grey Wolf along with 8 other cubs from across the region (Matt with his two proud Leaders from Grafton Sue Day (Akela) and Heather Eggins (Raksha). |
